Coffee Empowering Communities

Filanthrope is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charity that works through sustainable development, indigenous rights, and specialty coffee to heal the world one cup at a time. We’re doing this through a method called ‘Gift-Exchange’, where gifts – whether skills, infrastructure, monetary contributions, or roasted specialty coffee – are mutually donated in an ever growing network of coffee lovers and indigenous, ethnic-minority farming families who suffer the pains of extreme poverty. We facilitate a relationship for those who wish to live in a world where the coffee they love represents more than coffee…but a direct relationship to improve a community’s livelihood to make the world a better place.
